rain

Ursula Dean

mist and rain :)  it feels like we wait a long time for these rainy weather months to come.  i never tire of it though.  i loved it as a kid and spent hours outside in the rain overturning bricks to look for salamanders.  still more time with my sister down at the creek near our house in san rafael.  it was great to be inside too - movies were richer, scarier.  grilled cheese sandwiches and campbell's tomato soup after riding our bikes in circles in the garage, rain pouring down the street.  good times.

i'm glad everyone loved the blouses .. they went quickly.  i'm working on a few things for the shop before i go into hibernation for winter with my books and my pajamas:>  the button back blouse will be available in the most beautiful french cotton print.  it is a floral in dusky colors.  i will also have the new flutter sleeve dress i showed for spring (polka dot) available in black silk.  i've also been working on some jackets in these italian wool knits.  a bomber style jacket that zips up the front with pockets.  i think it's a great jacket when you don't need a serious wool overcoat that day.  the fuzzy grey version has that collegiate look.  the black with white tufts is very parisian-chic.  are you intrigued?  they're fun and they won't be terribly expensive either.
