plaid pintuck

Ursula Dean

i met up with the beautiful lara again recently.  she modeled for us over the course of a year or two and had a brief cameo in the little short that was made about me back in 2012.  of course i asked her to model for me.  one of the pieces we shot is a last minute addition to the winter collection, a simple pintuck blouse in tomato plaid.  i actually made this blouse for the children's collection a few years ago and meant to bring it out in a women's version eventually.  voila.  it has contrast black plaid trim, a nice touch.  i live in tops like this fyi.  soft, comfortable .. sort of boxy but great under a knit vest or sweater.  i have been pretty much living in the new knit vests lately.  i pair them with modaspia silk or cotton pintucks, occasionally adding a silk scarf underneath for added warmth.  all this with jeans and black lace up boots.  we've had a lot of rain, there is mud everywhere.  it's glorious, i don't mind a bit.

if you'd like to preorder one of the pintucks drop me a line.  the fabric is a washed organic cotton / hemp blend.  cost $110.  the shop will most definitely open with the new winter gear this week .. stay tuned.
