more on coats

more images of the coats coming monday to the shop, including the new brown wool tweedy version.  a few customers had suggested the brown wool and after making up the sample i found that i really liked it.  it’s a great coat for where i live and it’s perfect with those Frye work boots i bought last year.  a good coat is an investment. this one has all the elements i was looking for in a coat for every day. the front angled welt pockets are essential as are a good button – horn, not plastic.  when you see it you know the difference at once.  the collar is rounded, cozy.  the lining is polka dot on the navy and burnt orange, a fun touch.  the cut is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath.  navy boiled wool and burnt orange mohair $300, brown wool $290.
