julia dress

this month i will be bringing in a few pieces made by other designers.  i wrestled with this idea a bit to be honest.  suffice to say, in the end my shop is my creative brain at work and these additions are a part of the whole - just like the made-to-order children's clothes and last year's burnt orange mohair jacket.  it's all a look and one i like to build on and share with others.

above is the julia dress by cp shades based in sausalito, ca.  all of their clothes are made in the bay area, just like modaspia.  i tried the dress on when i was in mill valley recently and loved how light it felt.  the dress is a mix of black silk and cotton, double layered, with a cinched waist.  pretty versatile.  i tried on the small and it felt quite roomy.  i can wear the small in modaspia but tend toward the medium.  their line tends to run a little bigger than modaspia i found.  i will be ordering sizes x-small through large for my shop.  if you are interested in pre-ordering your size or have questions feel free to contact me via the shop.  the dress will retail for $210 and be available later in june.

tomorrow ... sleepwear by domi !
